SureSync has successfully completed a new migration for Dovida, one of the Netherlands' leading home care organisations. Through the SureSync Managed Integration API Connector, HR data is now automatically and accurately exchanged between Visma.net and Nedap Ons. Where the integration was previously based on an outdated XML import method, the care organisation has now switched to a modern and robust API connection between Visma.net HRM & Payroll and Nedap ONS.

Why this upgrade?

The old integration was no longer being developed and no longer met modern requirements for stability and scalability. By moving to the API industry standard, Dovida has chosen a future-proof solution. The key benefits of the new connector:

With the deployment of the SureSync Managed Integration API Connector, the two systems are now fully connected. The result: no more duplicate data entry, reduced risk of errors, and constant access to up-to-date HR data in Nedap Ons. The connector ensures seamless synchronisation of critical HRM data:

• Employee personal details: including specific rules for first names and nicknames
• Contract data: automatic processing of start and end dates and salary hours
• Leave registration: for an up-to-date overview of staff availability
• Departments: synchronisation of the organisational structure
• Qualifications / expertise: specialist knowledge available per employee
• Salary data: complete transfer of payroll-related information
• AGB codes: correct registrations always available for accountability and billing
• BIG numbers: direct insight into the authorisations and qualifications of healthcare providers within Nedap ONS

Collaboration as a foundation

A technical integration is only as strong as the collaboration behind it. The go-live is the result of a carefully managed project: an inventory phase, configuration in the test environment, and an extensive end-to-end test conducted by Dovida. After fine-tuning the API settings and a successful smoke test, the connection was officially launched. Dovida's swift decision-making, clear input, and constructive communication made it possible to carry out the onboarding efficiently.

Thanks to this integration, Dovida eliminates duplicate administration and gains a stable information infrastructure that is continuously being improved. The success of the renewed Visma.net API → Nedap Connector has not gone unnoticed. Due to its strong performance with clients such as Dovida and the significant improvements over the previous XML-based method, several other care organisations have already expressed interest in making the switch.
