Maaike Berger

Over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing roles, including at PEAK-IT, Visma Raet, and Vrije Universiteit. She has been with SureSync since 2023, first as Sales & Marketing Director and now as Managing Director. Maaike is an active member of the Marketing & Communication Working Group at Trusted Information Partners (TIP), where she contributes to industry-wide standards for data sharing. In addition, she is actively involved with XBRL Nederland, the partnership between the business community, government, and academic institutions focused on the open standard for financial and business reporting. She has a background in communications and holds both a NIMA certification and an MBA.

Maaike believes in leadership that provides space: clear goals, trust in people, and the freedom to achieve those goals in one’s own way. At SureSync, she is working to build an organization that helps businesses, healthcare organizations, and government agencies continue to rely on data sharing that is secure and simple. She is building on the foundation laid in recent years and is committed to further growth, together with the team.
