Neocura: from manual reports to a real-time dashboard

Neocura provides supported and sheltered housing to approximately 60 clients at two locations in Arnhem. With a team of 35 professionals, the organization supports adults with intellectual disabilities, psychiatric conditions, substance abuse issues, or behavioral problems. In addition to residential support, Neocura also provides outpatient care.

Previously, Neocura used Nedap’s electronic client record system (ONS). Retrieving information required many steps and thus took valuable time. Through the director’s network, Neocura came into contact with EscuLine (part of SureSync), which developed a number of BI dashboards that automatically retrieve data from ONS.
Immediate insight, without intervention
The dashboards delivered by EscuLine have completely replaced the manual generation of reports. After logging in, users immediately see the information most relevant to them. Neocura now focuses on time tracking, productivity, utilization of resources, and absenteeism due to illness. Areas for improvement are quickly identified, without relying on an analyst or time-consuming export processes.
The project was carried out in close collaboration. Following a kick-off meeting, during which it was determined which data should be displayed, EscuLine quickly delivered a prototype. This was reviewed jointly for both content and layout, followed by a final version after the last round of feedback.
Expanding Dashboards
Neocura is now working on an expansion specifically focused on financial flows. The foundation is in place, but there are further plans: possibilities are also being explored for healthcare-specific dashboards and for reports relevant to stakeholders and regulatory authorities. The ambition is clear: as Neocura expands to more locations, it aims to increasingly rely on dashboards to provide precise guidance for the organization.
