SureSync appoints Maaike Berger as Managing Director

SureSync, an IT service provider and specialist in data exchange, has appointed Maaike Berger as managing director, effective October 1, 2026. SureSync also includes EscuLine, a specialist in data insights for the healthcare sector, and SmartTrackers, a provider of software for ESG and sustainability data. Berger has been with SureSync as sales and marketing director since 2023. In that role, Berger helped shape the organization’s positioning and growth. She is now taking the next step in her career and, as managing director, will have overall responsibility for the company’s strategy, continued growth, and service quality.

Extensive Commercial Experience

Berger has over twenty years of experience in commercial and marketing roles. Among other positions, she served as marketing director at, IT service provider PEAK-IT, and HR service provider Visma Raet, before joining SureSync in 2023. In addition, she is active in the Marketing & Communication Working Group of Trusted Information Partners (TIP), an independent collaborative platform for trusted data exchange, where she contributes to industry-wide standards for data sharing. She is also committed to XBRL Nederland, a partnership between the business community, government, and knowledge institutions that focuses on the open XBRL standard for exchanging financial and business reports.

This year, Berger has also been nominated for the Computable Award in the CxO of the Year category; the winner will be announced on November 17.
